Shines at Inter-School Sports Meet 2025

On 7th April 2025, Namphing Secondary School proudly participated in the Inter-School Sports Meet held at Bermiok Tokal Senior Secondary School, South Sikkim. The event marked a day full of energy, excitement, and sportsmanship, bringing together young athletes from various schools across the region.

Our Headmaster, Shri B.R. Subba, along with dedicated mentor teachers Miss Reshma Subba and Mrs. Radhika Sharma, led a spirited team of 23 student athletes to the event. Their presence and support played a key role in motivating and guiding our students throughout the day.

Students from Namphing Secondary School actively took part in various track and field events, demonstrating their athletic abilities and competitive spirit. From sprints and relays to long jumps and shot put, our students gave their best in every event, showcasing not only their talent but also the hard work and training they had put in over the past weeks.

The sports meet was more than just a competition — it was a valuable learning experience for all participants. It provided our students with a platform to challenge themselves, learn from fellow athletes, and understand the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Moreover, the event helped strengthen inter-school relationships and foster a healthy spirit of sportsmanship among the participants.

The programme concluded with a vibrant prize distribution ceremony, recognizing the outstanding performances and collective efforts of all the students. Although medals and trophies were awarded, the true reward was the sense of achievement, camaraderie, and personal growth experienced by every participant.

We are extremely proud of our students for representing Namphing Secondary School with dedication and enthusiasm.
