Namphing Secondary School is a reputed Government Educational Institution aided by the Government of Sikkim, which is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The medium of instruction is English and is a co-educational school. It has classes from LKG to X.
The following are the Scholastic Curriculum Part-A and subject combinations on the basis of the standard levels:-
Vernacular or Secondary Languages: Nepali, Limboo, Bhujel, and other regional languages (compulsory subject for classes I to VIII). It is compulsory for the students to study one of these languages.
Class LKG and UKG: English, Mathematics and Nepali
Class I to V: English, Mathematics, EVS, Hindi and Vernacular
Class VI to VIII: English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics, Hindi, Vernacular, Computer and Sanskrit
Class IX and X: English, Social Science, Science, Vernacular and additional subject (Information Technology/Computer Science and Travel Tourism Management are offered as additional subjects. Students of Classes IX and X, will have to take one of these subjects.)
