Namphing Secondary School is equipped with a modern Computer Laboratory that supports the school’s commitment to digital literacy and 21st-century learning. The lab houses over 15 computer systems, each installed with the necessary software to meet the evolving needs of students across all grades.
Students are introduced to computing from an early age and progressively develop their skills in various software applications. The curriculum includes programs such as MS Office, Paintbrush, Logo, CorelDRAW, Adobe Flash, PageMaker, Photoshop, and VB.NET. Senior students are provided with tools and platforms to code and run programs in Java (using NetBeans) and C++, aligning with CBSE guidelines.
To enhance digital learning further, the lab is equipped with internet facilities, allowing students to explore, research, and engage with interactive learning resources under supervised guidance.
In addition to the computer lab, the school also uses Smart TVs and projectors to facilitate audio-visual learning, especially for Kindergarten and senior classes. These tools help create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment, making lessons more interactive and effective.
