Namphing Secondary School features a well-equipped Science Laboratory designed to provide hands-on learning experiences in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for students of Classes IX and X. The same laboratory is also used to conduct practical lessons in General Science for students of Classes VI, VII, and VIII, in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
The primary goal of the laboratory is to ensure that each student receives adequate exposure to scientific equipment and sufficient time to perform experiments independently. This practical approach helps deepen their understanding of scientific concepts and fosters critical thinking and observation skills.
Our science lab is well-stocked with essential instruments and materials including burettes, test tubes, conical flasks, laboratory balances, microscopes, forceps, tongs, tweezers, prepared slides, biological specimens, and a wide range of chemicals. This ensures that every student has the opportunity to engage in hands-on experimentation in a safe and well-organized environment.
Experienced and qualified science teachers guide students through a structured schedule of practical sessions, ensuring both conceptual clarity and careful supervision. Strict safety protocols are followed at all times to ensure the well-being of every child during lab activities.
